Prime Thermal works alongside SkyCity Hamilton’s onsite maintenance team, providing specialist refrigeration and air-conditioning expertise where required.
Our role includes three-monthly and annual servicing of SkyCity’s main water chillers, which supply chilled water to multiple buildings across the complex. Annual services include drier changes, oil changes, and detailed system checks to maintain reliability and efficiency.
We also attend to repairs and breakdowns across a wide range of systems, including restaurant chillers and freezers, beer keg glycol systems, large commercial air-conditioning units, large air handlers, fresh air systems, ice makers, cooling towers and smaller high-wall systems.
Prime Thermal has previously delivered compressor upgrades on large reciprocating chilled-water compressors and regularly assists with BMS (Building Management System) fault-finding, diagnosing electrical issues, working collaboratively with other contractors to resolve control and performance issues.
This ongoing partnership ensures SkyCity’s hospitality and gaming operations remain comfortable, compliant, and uninterrupted.
